This replacement front outer axle 'stub' shaft fits 72-83 CJ5, 72-76 CJ6, 76-86 CJ7 and 81-86 CJ8 Scrambler models with Dana 30 front differentials. Shaft features 27 splines and is 9.56- inches in length. Fits left OR right side. Sold individually. For U-joint, use 16525.01. Replaces OE 36617
