Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel w/the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating. Compressed operating thickness is 0.032". Right Side. Cometic MLX (Multi-Layer Stopper) gaskets utilize an integrated stopper layer for combustion chamber sealing and improved clamp load around the cylinder without increasing bore distortion. MLX technology can be found in some head gaskets and are made from the same materials as our MLS Head Gaskets. No sealants or re-torque are required.
- The embossed outer layers of the gaskets meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes
- The center or shim layer is an uncoated stainless steel layer which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements
- Requires less clamp load creating less bore distortion
- Conforms load distribution across the sealing area
- Requires No Sealants Or Re-Torque
